Job Description
NATURE OF WORK:  This is a professional position, which provides a variety of clinical services to child victims of severe abuse and their protective, family members/non-offending caregivers,

QUALIFICATIONS:  Master's degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent.  Licensure preferred.  Minimum two years, which may include college placement and/or internship, experience providing therapy services with sexually abused children and their family members/non-offending caregivers.

DUTIES:  Provide full range of evidence-based and trauma-focused clinical services, including social history, individual, family and group therapy, referrals to additional services as needed.
Complete all necessary documentation relation to service delivery to clients, timely data entry of services into NCA Trak, including summary reports of clinical activities for grant reports needed by the Executive Director, ensure chart order and documentation is properly executed per client.
Maintain professional communication and collaboration with CPIT members, CPIT member agencies, external providers and community partners.
Maintain HIPAA compliance as related to client matters and records.
Assist in professional training, community education presentations and volunteer training as requested.
Testify in court as requested.
Supervise students, if applicable.
Participate in state-wide CAC Therapist meetings and peer review.
Participate in the SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) school-based curriculum as scheduling allows.
Solicit support from the existing volunteer base when a volunteer is needed to support clients prior to Intake or therapy appointments.
Provide Anonymous Surveys to the non-offending caregivers and/or clients at the end of services and ensure the completed survey is given to the Family Services Specialist.
Complete required annual continuing education in accordance with professional ethics and/or licensure.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
