An introduction to this emerging component of the residential marketplace
Realtors need basic knowledge of the Smart Home industry and available products to help their clients capitalize on this emerging technology. They need to be able to help homebuyers identify what technology they’re interested in acquiring in a new home and help them find it. Realtors must be able to represent the benefits and functionality of existing home attributes to a buyer who might not understand, and leverage it for sales benefits. Research shows that buyers are interested in this technology and are starting to expect to see it more and more. No realtor can afford to ignore this new component in their industry.
