AMR is a recognized leader in 911 emergency ambulance services and interfacility transports, and the trusted provider to the third largest city in the state of Tennessee. AMR Knoxville handles approximately 125,000 requests for service per year.
AMR Knoxville’s licensed Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and Advanced EMT’s arrive on the scene with the skills and expertise to rapidly administer care, coordinate with on-scene first responders, communicate with emergency department physicians and transport patients to the most appropriate facilities. AMR Knoxville also provides ALS and BLS transportation, community education and special event staffing within Knox County, which boasts six area hospitals, including a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Children’s Hospital.
AMR Knoxville is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS), universally recognized as the gold standard for EMS services
