2024 Breakfast Speaker Series: Farragut/West Knox County Commission Candidates Panel

The chamber's Breakfast Speaker Series events provide an opportunity for businesses and the public to hear from speakers on specific topics or issues that are of importance to them, their business, and our community. Members receive discounted pricing as a benefit of membership. Attendees from the community are always welcome. 

Knox County is growing with the city center populations clearly shifting WEST as of recent data; the question of who represents these districts matters.  Join us as our local celebrity moderator, Michele Silva of Midwest Communications (Home of B97.5), helps facilitate a discussion of the issues between the candidates for Knox County Commission District 5 plus the School Board candidates for this district. Scheduled on February 7^th,  one week ahead of the start of early voting on February 14^th.

Moderator, Michele Silva, has an extensive background in the news media industry with multi-year stints as an anchor on local stations WVLT and WBIR, and in Corpus Christi, TX. Her most memorable interviews of her anchor years include the likes of John F. Kennedy, Jr., Bret Michaels, and Mother Teresa. The chamber is honored to have her help guide our candidates discussion.
