Join us for a fun enlightening morning as we delve into the rich history of Historic Concord and its influence on current local economy, businesses, and infrastructure. This engaging event will feature two special speakers, each bringing a unique perspective on the Knox County area’s past and its relevance today.
The program will take place in the historic Concord Presbyterian Church, est, 1798, and be expertly emceed by beloved Knoxville humorist and news writer, Sam Venable, who will weave humor and insight throughout the discussion. Speakers Jack Neely and Jennifer Montgomery will explore the evolution of Historic Concord, highlighting how its historical significance continues to shape the community’s identity and economic landscape.
- Jennifer is a realtor who discovered her love of old historic homes and the areas they occupy, as well as delving into their history as part of her day-to-day work for clients.
