On Thursday, July 6th at 8:00 AM, we will be coming together to share with you current initiatives and how your company can get involved in supporting the efforts of the Alzheimer's Association and The Pat Summitt Foundation. (Formal invitation is attached.)
In 2023 our goal is to connect even more within this community we serve. As a community leader, if you have not felt Alzheimer’s in the workplace, you will likely experience the effects of it in the near future. Being a caregiver can have a huge strain on associates, causing them to be late or absent from the workplace and we all know the effects stress can have on productivity.
We will lead with our keynote speakers, Ken Weathers (Chief Meteorologist at WATE TV) and Morgan Vance (Director of Advancement at Pat Summitt Foundation). Association staff will wrap up the presentation providing information on current initiatives. We’ll talk about the role you and your colleagues can and do play in advancing that mission, and how we can further bring our mission to life in this community. Directly following we’ll host a Q&A where we can learn from you about opportunities, challenges and the unique needs of this community in order to help all of us better deliver on our mission.
If you are unable to join us in person, but are still interested in getting involved, please submit your RSVP and click on the option to request more information. Sara Dickson, Development Manager, will reach out accordingly.
Please RSVP here by Friday, June 30th
