Event Description:
King University will host a Professional Development Workshop on October 23rd from 5:00 - 7:00 at our Knoxville Campus in Hardin Valley. Classroom teachers are invited to this event for two hours of topics revelant to teaching and learning. King University representatives will be there to answer questions about the master's program in leadership and the ESL endorsement.
Session 1: 5 - 6 pm Dr. Penny Neal
The Effects of Toxic Stress on the Body: Why it is important and ways to reduce stress in everyday life.
Session 2: 6 - 7 pm Dr. Donna Watson & Dr Sandra Sanders
MRI: Mesurable Results Instantly - Formative assessments strategies for every lesson every day focusing on TEAM Categories of Questioning, Academic Feedback and Assessment.
Free to attend and a light meal will be served.
