West Knox County Senior Center is excited to host an open house from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, located below Farragut Community Center.
“We’ll be serving hamburgers and hotdogs and have a music program featuring the Early Bird Special Band,” WKCSC coordinator Darrell Gooding said. “The Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding will be visiting with us along with some of their mini horses, and we’ll be acknowledging some organizations in our community that have made some wonderful contributions to the West Knox County Senior Center over the past year. We also anticipate a visit from Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs.”
