How about STREAM Cleaning instead? Get OUTDOORS with the West Young Professionals for this service oriented outing to help maintain the health of a 1/4 mile section of Little Turkey Creek in Farragut as part of the Adopt-A-Stream program!

Know Before the Clean-Up:

• Cleaning this section of stream typically takes 2 hours from start to finish, including carrying all trash back to the starting point where it is picked up by Town of Farragut. Make sure you can spare the afternoon from 2:30 onward. Please arrive on time so everyone can get "suited" up and into the stream!
• Waders, Grabbers, Gloves, & trash bags are PROVIDED by the Town of Farragut.
• Provided Waders are LIMITED in size/shoe size so we *may* not be able to accommodate everyone *exactly* to fit, but we can usually get close. If you have your own waders, you may wish to bring those. 
• WEAR: Clothing that easily fits under/inside the waders and that you DON'T mind getting wet. Stream is waist deep in areas; we cannot guarantee you won't slip or that your waders won't have a small unknown pinhole leak.
• BRING:
  • Spare socks or sandals and towel for the ride home, just in case.
  • DRY/Ziploc bag for your keys/phone (neither chamber/Town is responsible for lost, dropped, or damaged personal items; everyone including chamber staff and West YPs must sign a waiver before the event start). 
• RAIN DATE: If the weather turns bad or nears freezing, our make-up date is Wednesday, April 30th. Below normal temps or cloudy weather will not affect the original date.
