Green Meadows Partners is currently recruiting for several prestigious companies in the Knoxville area in need of adding Financial Controllers to their growing, dynamic teams!

Duties

• Manage all aspects of accounting including accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, and bookkeeping.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports.
• Manage taxes.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards.
• Develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
• Monthly forecasting.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive business performance.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end closing processes and annual audits.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the reliability of financial reporting,

Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA designation is a plus but not required. Coupled with proven experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, double entry bookkeeping, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial report writing with the ability to convey complex information clearly, and excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
