We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help ensure our property continues to operate at its best.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the overall maintenance of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house operations. This position ensures that all systems—plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building functions—are kept in excellent working condition.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all hotel equipment and systems.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and report major repair needs to management.

Ensure the property meets Choice Hotels brand and safety standards.

Assist with seasonal upkeep, including landscaping, pool maintenance, and snow removal (as needed).
Qualifications:
-
Previous hotel or facility maintenance experience preferred.

Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
