Position Overview: We are currently seeking a driven Support Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer support and maintenance for our clients' network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems. This position requires strong technical expertise, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to delivering superior service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline support for customer inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network-related problems, including connectivity issues, performance degradation, and security incidents.
  • Perform remote installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and telecommunications systems to ensure seamless integration with customers' network environments.
  • Configure and maintain client networks and VPNs, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Participate in change management processes, incident reviews, and root cause analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer environments, procedures, and policies to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
  • Respond to security alerts and intrusion incidents, collaborating with team members to address and remediate issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the health and performance of customers' entire network infrastructure and take proactive measures to prevent downtime and optimize performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer networking or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of hands-on experience without a degree.
  • Desired qualifications include Microsoft certification.
  • Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting network-related issues and providing remote support to end-users.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Microsoft 365. Experience managing phones is a plus.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining client networks, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
