Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Massage Therapist to join our expert team. Your role will involve providing therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individuals with medical conditions, injuries, and those recovering from surgeries. You will work alongside leading healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and enhancing overall health.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement customized massage therapy treatment plans.
- Apply a variety of massage techniques to reduce pain, alleviate stress, and promote healing.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate patients on self-care techniques and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing recovery.
- Contribute to our membership plan aimed at maintaining clients’ health and wellness.
Qualifications:
- Valid TN state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Certification as a personal trainer, exercise physiologist, or kinesiologist is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- If you are not trained in medical massage but would like to transition into this field, we will provide training.
