Green Meadows Partners is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join the finance team and contribute to our client’s financial success.

Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, GAAP, and other financial regulations.
  • Support strategic financial decisions and initiatives through data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
